Welcome to Stora Enso Wood Supply Baltic 

Stora Enso Wood Supply is a division in Stora Enso and responsible for the wood raw material supply to Stora Enso’s European industry. Stora Enso Wood Supply Baltic is one of five business areas in Wood Supply.

Wood Supply Baltic is the wood procurement organization, which is operating in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus The goal of Wood Supply Baltic is to supply Stora Enso's mills in the Baltic countries with round wood and to deliver agreed volumes of pulp wood, chips, sawdust and fuel wood to the company's mills in other parts of Europe, mainly Sweden and Finland. Our vision is to be the leading wood supply organization in the Baltic countries.

Our aim is to ensure environmental, social and economical sustainability in all our operations. We are implementing Stora Enso’s corporate values, strategies and policies in our environmental fieldwork. Wood Supply Baltic has altogether 124 people working in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus.

In Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania about 60% of the wood comes from private forests and the rest from state-owned forests. We are operating both stumpages and delivered round wood. In Belarus all wood comes from state-owned forests.

Wood Supply Baltic's wood procurement volume totaled 1,9 million cubic meters in 2009.
