History

1885 Master carpenter Valentin Weiß built a saw for boards.

1896 Ignaz De Colle founded a sawmill.

1906 Family De Colle bought the sawmill.

1982 Takeover by Frantschach plc:
          Installation of a new frame saw and new drying chambers

1991 Erection of a new chipper canter (LINCK)

1997 Takeover by "Holzindustrie Schweighofer":
          new investments, a large increase in production

1998 Merger of Holzindustrie Schweighofer with Stora Enso WP.

1999 Stora Enso WP took over all mills from Schweighofer completely.

2001 Certification of PEFC; Construction of a planer mill with resorting (regrading machine)

2002 Reconstruction of the sawing line: Increase of speed up to 100 m/min

2004 Certification of EMAS, ISO14001 and SGM from AUVA

2006 Start with sewage works for surface water

2007 Construction of CLT-mill
