Welcome to Kabel Mill 

Kabel Mill is located in Hagen at the edge of the Sauerland, 15 km to the south of Dortmund and approx. 65 km to the east of Düsseldorf.

With two paper machines, the mill focuses on the production of high-quality wood-containing coated printing papers in reels and sheets that are mainly used for magazines, mail-order catalogues, flyers, direct mail, advertising brochures, schoolbooks, calendars and business reports. The annual capacity amounts to 485,000 tons.

Kabel Mill has operated its own mechanical-biological waste water treatment plant since 1970. In cooperation with the Ruhr Association, waste water from paper production is treated here together with municipal wate water - an intelligent symbiosis.

As the first company in Germany and the first paper mill in Europe, Kabel Mill received the EMAS registration already in 1995. In addition, the mill is certified to ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment), OHSAS 18001 (occupational health and safety), PEFC and FSC (forest certification).
