Stora Enso Packaging is one of the leading producers of corrugated board sheets and packages in Baltic States. Headquarters of Baltic operations are located in Riga, Latvia, where also main corrugated board plant is located. Sheet converting plants are located in Tallinn (Estonia) and Kaunas (Lithuania). Production operation in Riga mill was started in 1996.

Stora Enso Packaging Riga mill is producing corrugated board sheets and packaging for all Baltic operations from both virgin and recycled fiber. The following flute profils are produced in Riga: E, B, C, BE and BC.

Corrugated board packaging solutions are produced using both in-line and die-cut production processes in up to four colour flexo printing. Packaging can be produced from uncoated or coated liners. Coated liner can be covered with varnish which provides colour intensity and brightness.

Stora Enso Packaging SIA is also able to produce heavy duty packaging including containers and pallets.

The production unit is equipped with a quality control laboratory, carrying out conventional testing of raw materials and production samples. The laboratory can test for Flat Crush Resistance, Pin Adhesion Test, and Edge Crush Test, all free of charge.

The design department, in turn, offers both structural and print designs in helping to market and distribute the customer's products, together with free samples for evaluation.
