Ostroleka Mill 2

Welcome to Ostroleka Mill

The mill in Ostrołęka is the biggest mill in Stora Enso Poland by the size of the mill area. Its history dates back to 1959, the year of inception of the state-owned company Ostrołęckie Zakłady Celulozowe – Papiernicze (the Ostrołęka Pulp and Paper Mill). The first milestone for the company was in 1990 when the Polish-Swedish joint venture partnership under the name of Intercell was established. Intercell has gradually expanded its activities by starting up its mills in Łódź, Tychy and Mosina. In 2004 all mills of Intercell S.A. joined Stora Enso Poland S.A.

Ostrołęka is the localization of an integrated paper and paper packaging business which comprises a pulp and paper mill, a corrugated board and boxes mill and a sack mill. Most of our production is based on our own pulp and paper mill which provides other internal mills with kraft and sack paper and CCM.

The corrugated board and boxes mill manufactures single and double wall corrugated board of all types of flutes, which are then used for the production of different kinds of American boxes and die-cut boxes. The dimensions, structures and graphic design of offered packaging is tailored to the customer’s needs.

The sack mill is the most modern sack producer in Central Eastern Europe, equipped with 5 state-of-the art sack production lines. The assortment offer comprises: open-mouth pasted sacks, open-mouth sewn sacks, valve-pasted sacks and paper sacks on reels. The modern facilities and technological solutions will allow us to provide the customer with sacks in many sizes and with high strength parameters (ranged from 2 kg to 50 kg). They are tailored to meet the customer’s needs.
