Logistics 

Stora Enso Logistics is the Group's shared transport and distribution organisation. Stora Enso Logistics mission is "to provide required logistic services at lowest cost".

Stora Enso Logistics organisation ensures designed service concepts/requirements and at the same time continuous improvements of existing transport and distribution methods. To achieve this we co-ordinate the flows, storage and distribution of the Group's products. An essential part of this service is also to provide information and feedback on key topics, like transport costs, handling costs and product care.

Stora Enso Logistics core tasks and roles are

• Transport and Distribution Contracting and Business Co-ordination
• Together with sales identify most value creating logistics solution and customer service offerings
• Together with mills identify best transportation/distribution set-up
• Develop new logistical solutions

All services to external customers are carried out via contracted transport service suppliers like road hauliers, rail and shipping companies, terminal and port operators, IT service providers etc.
