Procurement Director, Transformation, Stora Enso Purchasing
Malin just recently returned from a four-year trip to Brazil, where she worked as the Human Resources Director for Stora Enso Latin America. She started her career at Stora Enso in November 2000 and has been with the company since then.
“I have mainly been working within different fields of Human Resources. Initially I was working with areas more related to human resources development, such as labour market image and corporate training programmes. Later, I moved on to learn more about areas such as performance management and compensation and benefits. My most interesting move took place when I was given the opportunity to work as Human Resources Director for the Latin America Division. In this position, I was part of a team who made the foundation for Stora Enso’s organisation and activities in Latin America.”
During her stay in Brazil Malin completed an Executive MBA at Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Sao Paolo.
“When terminating my assignment in Brazil I was determined to increase my business understanding by changing fields. Stora Enso then gave me the opportunity to start working within Corporate Purchasing, where I work today managing the transformation of the purchasing function in the company."
