The original kraft-back

Stiff, sturdy and food safe, CKB TM by Stora Enso is the undefeated champion of coated unbleached kraft (CUK) grades for food packaging and more. The unique shade of brown on its reverse side gives it an unmistakeably natural look and feel – an opportunity to truly differentiate.

CKBTM by Stora Enso is made from 100% pure virgin fiber from responsibly managed forests, with full traceability. The strong virgin kraft fibers make CKB highly material efficient and light-weight perfect for today’s consumers who pay more attention than ever to the packaging itself, not just to what’s inside it.

The exceptional stiffness and strength properties of CKB mean you can wave goodbye to dented boxes, waste, taste, odour, or purity concerns— and say hello to renewability, recyclability and the strongest packaging at a low weight. On both converting and packing lines, CKB’s consistent quality and production methods can increase efficiency and reduce stoppages and waste.

CKB is an ideal material for packaging a wide variety of products— from dry, chilled, and frozen food, wine & spirits and organic goods to non-food items. Whatever you plan to pack and the impression you wish to create, you can rely on our original CKB family of products to cater to your needs.

What our customers say

“Working together with the printer and food-packing brand owner, we were able to reach a lower basis weight with CKB and provide a solution that improved the packaging line’s efficiency while saving 15% on packaging weight.”
- Food brand owner

“CKB is more stable and robust than other products we use. In fact, if we have print problems with other products, we tend to switch to CKB in order to get the job out the door. I would say it’s a higher quality CUK.”
