Stora Enso has been ranked as having the best company Website in Finland, according to Webbranking 2001, the fifth annual ranking by Hallvarsson & Halvarsson, a Swedish consulting company. Stora Enso’s Website at www.storaenso.com was considered the best Website of Finnish stock exchange companies and tenth among companies listed in Sweden.
The aim of the ranking is to help companies to make the best use of the Internet as a source of information for investors by surveying professional and private investors’ opinions of Websites. This year the survey was based on the following criteria: accessibility; layout and navigation; interactivity; updating and links; addresses; company presentation; and financial information, which was considered the most important. Stora Enso’s Website was praised for its layout, good navigation structure and availability of the quarterly financial material, especially its availability as Excel files. The comprehensive descriptions of the option programmes, share information and debt market were also praised.
