During the 1–31 January 2008 conversion period there were three conversions and a total of 17 975 A shares were converted into R shares. The number of shares converted was incorrectly reported to Stora Enso as 24 540 by the custodian bank. The number of shares converted and the breakdown of shares after the conversion that were recorded in the Finnish Trade Register today, 15 February 2008, are therefore incorrect by 6 565 shares.
The correct numbers of shares will be recorded in the Finnish Trade Register approximately on Monday, 18 February 2008, and trading in the new R shares will start approximately on 19 February 2008.
