Stora Enso has appointed Ulla Paajanen-Sainio (46), Master of Arts and Master of
Business Administration, as the new Head of Investor Relations effective
immediately.
Ulla Paajanen-Sainio is currently VP, Investor Relations and Financial
Communications, at Stora Enso. She has been with the company for nearly seven
years, being mainly responsible for investor relations activities in the Nordic
Region and also managing Stora Enso's Financial Communications. Before joining
Stora Enso, she worked in leading investor relations and communications
positions in the IT and electronics sectors.
To improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness, the investor relations function is
now based in Helsinki. Until today, the activities were split between the
Helsinki and London offices. Ulla Paajanen-Sainio succeeds Keith B Russell, SVP,
Investor Relations, who has been heading the function from the Group's London
office and who will leave Stora Enso at the end of May 2009 to pursue other
opportunities.
