Environmental system 

 ISO 14001 is an international environmental management standard. Nymölla Mill is ISO 14001 certified, which means that we actively and systematically work on incorporating environmental considerations into our business. An external certification company audits the mill to ensure compliance with the standard.

Nymölla Mill has also been registered with EMAS, the EU’s Eco Management and Audit Scheme, since 1998. Registration requires an operation to be based on an environmental management system such as ISO 14001. The purpose of EMAS is, in a systematic and structured way, to create the conditions for preventing, limiting and constantly reducing environmental impact. We are also committed to publishing an audited and approved environmental report every year.
