Our operations around the world 

Our market pulp mills are located in Finland and Sweden. The mills under the management of the Biomaterials Business Area are: Enocell, Sunila and Skutskär. Additionally, we sell the market pulp from the Kaukopää, Nymölla and Oulu mills.

In Brazil we own a 50% stake in Veracel Celulose S.A, a joint venture with the Brazilian company Fibria.

In Uruguay we have a 50% stake in Montes del Plata, a joint venture with the Chilean company Arauco, where we are currently building a 1.3 million tonnes per year pulp mill. This state-of-the-art BEKP pulp mill is expected to be operational by the end of the first quarter of 2013.
