Cross Laminated Timber - CLT

More than you expect

The production of CLT takes place in Europe's most modern and technically innovative facilities under stringent environmental regulations.  The result is a high-quality product to meet all requirements in spruce or other types of wood. CLT is comprised of bonded, cross-laminated single layered panels. This ensures construction-relevant benefits and problem-free connections. The lack of joints results in better hermetic sealing, heat transmission, water vapour diffusion, acoustic and fireproofing properties. Formaldehyde-free and environmentally friendly adhesives are employed for bonding. The cross structure of CLT components guarantees integral stability.

Problems such as shrinkage or swelling are minimized. CLT is primarily employed in the construction of walls, ceilings and roofing elements. Depending on its intended use, CLT can be supplied for visible or hidden construction purposes. All elements are supplied with sanded surfaces. Our large-scale elements (max. 3 x 16 m) enable fast construction and lead to very few butt joints between the elements. The individual ready-to-use prefabricated construction elements are packed in our factories, and delivered to sites in a suitable form for immediate placement.

We provide not only pre-cut window and door openings, but also rebates and milled channels for utility installations. The raw elements contain no metal staples or nails.

More than houses.
CLT is extremely versatile and is perfectly combinable with other construction materials.  As a result of its extreme load distribution properties in both directions, CLT presents no limitations for architectural, residential or utility building projects. This is a significant reason for its increasing use in the construction of detached and multi-tenant residential properties or in the construction of commercial and industrial premises. In addition, the enormous load-bearing and rugged properties of CLT ensure the increasing popularity of this high-quality construction product in the construction of bridges, carports, ancillary buildings, wood/concrete composite ceilings and in many other fields.

More than easy.
CLT saves time and money: delivered on site and ready-to-use, the placement of elements by crane minimizes erection and assembly times and considerably reduces the time to completion, and in turn, construction costs.
So it's no wonder that the demand for this versatile product is constantly growing, because building contractors who value construction methods with long-lasting and qualitative excellence just cannot ignore CLT.
