Stora Enso ThermoWood is a natural choice for challenging applications.
It is produced using a patented thermal modification process.
The heat treatment of softwood has a lasting effect on the technical properties of the material.
In effect the process creates a new wood species with its own special properties, which are more like those of certain hardwoods and highly durable wood materials.
