Fatal accident at Pfarrkirchen Mill

On Wednesday 28 December 2005 a fatal accident occurred at Stora Enso Timber's Pfarrkirchen Mill in Germany. An employee of a contractor company, SEW Eurodrive GmbH & Co. KG, died during maintenance work on a gear box of a vacuum stacker machine, when the stacker frame moved down and fatally hit the victim. The detailed causes of the accident are under investigation, which is being conducted together with the local authorities.
