Fatal accident in Lithuania

On 31 January, a contractor working for Stora Enso Wood Supply Baltic, Lithuania died from injuries sustained during manual logging. A full incident investigation is being conducted by the Lithuanian authorities, followed up by the Stora Enso organisation. Based on the investigation results, appropriate actions will be taken to improve safety performance. A corporate internal safety audit will be run at Wood Supply Baltic at the end of February.
