Stora Enso's waste to landfill 

Stora Enso has already achieved its waste to landfill reduction target, which has been  to reduce landfill waste by 10% by 2009 from 2004 levels. Stora Enso continuously works to reduce waste and to find beneficial uses. The waste utilisation rate, expressed as the percentage of residuals being used for beneficial purposes is 96%. Examples of beneficial use are energy recovery, soil improvement, road construction and brick manufacturing.
