Engaging with society 

Stora Enso takes an active role in engaging with communities by having local and global community projects, from which both parties can benefit .

On one hand, local units work in many ways together with their local communities.  On the other hand, Stora Enso has formed strategic partnerships with UNDP to create well-being and with UNICEF to promote basic education. Stora Enso and WWF have run a series of joint projects and engaged in local level collaboration in the past few years.
