Oxford notebook connects paper to the digital world

Paper has never been as powerful as the latest Oxford notebook range from Hamelin, France. The range of high-quality notebooks and filing products for students now comes with a mobile app, which has been downloaded more than 200 000 times so far.

The Oxford Powerfile notebook range includes "intelligent" filing products specially designed for students. There are three flap folders, a box, a sorter and a folder in the range which are made of Stora Enso’s Ensocoat 2S board in the cover. All the products have a QR code to connect with SOS Notes, a mobile app that enables easy scanning, filing and sharing of writings, drawings or other documents.

The high-quality notebook requires a board with a superb print result, durability and rigidity, which is achieved by using the laminated Ensocoat 2S 500 gsm board. It is also important for Hamelin that Ensocoat 2S has the EU Ecolabel Certificate, which confirms that the board fulfills the European Commission’s ecological criteria for copying and graphic paper.

“Oxford is today so much more than a notebook – it is a must-have tool for educational and professional achievement. By connecting paper to the digital world, Oxford doesn’t merely augment paper, it augments the potential of its users’ writings and their impact on real life. For the moment we offer this product for students in France,” says Jean-Marc Fontbonne, Document Filing Purchasing and Technical Manager at Hamelin.
