After a while of experimenting, Stora Enso Asia Packaging is now pleased to officially launch strategic partnership with local packaging manufacturers. With these strategic business partners, Stora Enso Asia Packaging could outsource part of our manufacturing process, and focus on developing our inhouse capabilities and injections on innovation & design, technologies, quality control and customer service, so as to keep providing high-quality end to end packaging solutions to our customers. In any event, Stora Enso Asia Packaging continues taking full responsibility for our business partners’ production and we manage those business partners to meet Stora Enso’s social responsibility standards.

As of today, Stora Enso Asia Packaging has established strategic partnership with a number of companies. These business partners are being put through a thorough, documented due diligence process on qualification of quality, operation process, financial situation etc. Moreover, Stora Enso Asia Packaging has engaged an independent third-party auditing firm to qualify these companies in all aspects, especially compliance and social responsibility which we attach great importance to. Going forward, we will closely monitor and manage our business partners to ensure that they subscribe to Stora Enso’s company values.
