The subsidiary of Stora Enso in the Middle East is located in Dubai.

In the early 80's, Enso was already present in the Middle East and served the Gulf region from a small office located at that time in the premises of the Finnish Embassy in Abu Dhabi. In order to serve its customers better, Enso Middle East was established in December 1995 and opened its own office in the Jebel Ali free zone in Dubai - UAE.

In 1999, the company's name was changed to Stora Enso Middle East.  This subsidiary is responsible for the sales of Fine paper and Packaging board in the Gulf Countries (GCC). Other countries are dealt with through agents.  It also handles sales for Corenso and Eurocan Pulp & Paper products.
