Thanks to our unique calendering technique, this new uncoated magazine paper performs well in applications that have traditionally been exclusive to lightweight coated papers. PrimaPlus can be used not just in magazine supplements, but also in weekly magazines with strong editorial content, for which quality demands are higher and touch and feel really make a difference.
“PrimaPlus was developed to respond to our customers’ needs. Its brightness and gloss, coupled with its bulk, give it great haptic properties. The touch and feel are pleasant. In addition, since this product is available in grammages as low as 48 gsm, we can provide customers with yield advantages. PrimaPlus is a viable alternative to lightweight coated (LWC) papers. We presented some samples at the IFRA industry fair last autumn. Although we knew we had a great new paper, we were positively surprised by the customer response,” says Tomas Larsson, VP, Product Segment SC & CM.
