Stora Enso continues in the Female Leader Engineer program in Finland

At Stora Enso, building a diverse and future-ready leadership pipeline is a long-term commitment. We are pleased to continue our participation in the Female Leader Engineer program in Finland for the second year, following an extremely positive first year in the program.

Female Leader Engineer is a prestigious talent program run by the recruitment company CoGig, designed for engineering students in the final stages of their studies who aspire to leadership roles within technology and industry. The program aims to inspire more women to pursue leadership careers and to support companies in strengthening diversity within future leadership.

Our first year in the Finnish program provided exclusively positive experiences from engaging with highly motivated participants to gaining fresh perspectives on leadership, technology and the future of our industry. Based on this strong foundation, we see great value in continuing the collaboration and further investing in emerging talent.

In Finland, Stora Enso continues the program together with Boliden, Fortum and Atlas Copco.

Female Leader Engineer provides a unique platform where students and companies meet through workshops, company visits and leadership-focused activities. The program culminates in a prestigious gala, where one participant is awarded the title Female Leader Engineer of the Year.

The winner receives a tailored personal development program delivered in collaboration with Anna Landegren and New Leadership, supporting their continued leadership journey.

Through initiatives like Female Leader Engineer, Stora Enso aims to attract, inspire and develop future leaders who will shape a more sustainable, innovative and inclusive industry.
