Stora Enso has joined the “Ykkösketjuun” campaign to support a call for a human rights due diligence law that will put all companies in Finland at an equal standing in their human rights work. The goal of the campaign, led by Finnish non-governmental organisation Finnwatch, is to get the country’s newly elected government to add the law on its agenda.
Respecting human rights is an important and integrated part of Stora Enso’s sustainability work. While our voluntary actions regarding human rights have been thorough and vigorous for years, we support measures, such as those promoted by the "Ykkösketjuun" campaign, that put companies at an equal standing.
