Heinola Fluting Mill

Heinola Fluting Mill in southern Finland is an integrated pulp and board mill that produces high-quality semi-chemical fluting for the corrugated board industry.

At the mill, we produce semi-chemical fluting cardboard, AvantFlute SC+, for the corrugated cardboard industry. The product is made from Nordic virgin fiber.

Fluting is the wavy middle layer of cardboard packaging. Our product is specially developed for packaging that needs to withstand demanding conditions. Applications include fruit, vegetable, and food packaging, which need to be lightweight yet durable, and able to withstand variations in temperature and humidity.

About 90 % of our production is exported, mainly to Europe.
