Imagine a sustainable foam material with similar usage areas as fossil-based polymer foams

Fibrease® by Stora Enso is a lightweight wood fiber-based foam material made from Nordic wood. It is resilient and has great damping and insulation capacity, whilst being recyclable in existing paper/board streams. The material is designed to replace polymer foams in packaging solutions. It is a soft yet resilient material with a memory foam like behavior and it fits various types of conversion methods like sawing, die-cutting, waterjet cutting and laminating.
