The New Wood exhibition in London highlights Finnish innovations

The shift away from fossil-based raw materials requires scalable and renewable alternatives. Stora Enso is creating better choices for society by accelerating the transition to a circular bioeconomy. Our purpose is to do good for people and the planet, and to replace non-renewable materials with renewable products. 

Stora Enso's product portfolio in the exhibition: 

Papira® – fully wood-based packaging padding material.

The Finnish Baby Box  – a packaging innovation, made of corrugated paperboard.

Premium packaging – functional and strong portfolio designed for cosmetics, fragrances, beverages, and gift packaging.

Scalable and recyclable gift packaging – recyclable and biodegradable corrugated cardboard.

Lignode® – an innovative bio-based hard carbon anode material made from lignin.

The exhibition is presented by the Finnish Forest Association, Uusi Puu - New Wood initiative, in collaboration with the Circular Bioeconomy Alliance and The King's Foundation.

The King Charles and President Alexander Stubb explored Finnish wood-based innovations at the New Wood exhibition in London on Tuesday, 17 March. The exhibition is open from Monday 9 March until Friday 27 March 2026. > Read more about Forest news
